N.S. man convicted of murder in N.B. prison

A 31-year-old Halifax man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of a New Brunswick man.

Christian Enang Clyke appeared in the Miramichi court on August 5.

He was charged in May of 2023, while he was an inmate at the Atlantic Institution in Renous.

Seven months earlier, in October 2022, 49-year-old Richard King of Hainesville, New Brunswick, was found badly injured in his cell after an assault. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Clyke will return to court in October for sentencing.
