Prime Minister To Meet With NB Premier Today

A busy schedule for the prime minister today as he makes a stop in New Brunswick.

This morning, Justin Trudeau will visit the 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown, along with Minister of National Defence Anita Anand, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence Lawrence MacAulay, and Minister of Official Languages and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency Ginette Petitpas Taylor.

Trudeau will also participate in a wreath-laying ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. this afternoon.

At 2:30 p.m., he is scheduled to make a high-speed internet announcement that will get more Canadians connected.

Following that announcement, at around 3:45 p.m., the prime minister will meet with New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs.
