Weapons Seized During Search Of Haut-Aboujagane Home

Numerous firearms have been seized following a drug investigation in Haut-Aboujagane.

Members of the New Brunswick RCMP Provincial Crime Reduction Unit (PCRU) searched a home on Aboujagane Road on November 3rd where they found eight restricted handguns, four rifles, a shotgun, and several boxes of ammunition.

A 57-year-old man was arrested, but later released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on January 13, 2023.

The investigation was conducted by the Provincial Crime Reduction Unit, which includes police officers from the New Brunswick RCMP and Fredericton Police Force.

The National Weapons Enforcement Support Team is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
