RCMP investigating link between injured man and theft from Riverview business

An RCMP investigation is underway after a man was found beside a road in Riverview with his face covered in blood.

Inspector Jonathan White says it happened at Pinder Road and Findlay Boulevard just before 6 am on Monday.

White adds that the man was uncooperative with police.

A blood trail led officers to the front of a home on Dayton Court in Riverview.

White adds before this call, they received reports fro Industrial Security of two men stealing pallets of sod from a nearby Kent store.

One of the suspects in that incident resembled the injured man.

More information is still required about the two incidents that are potentially connected.
