Search For Man Unlawfully At Large In NB

RCMP is renewing efforts to locate a man wanted for being unlawfully at large.

Forty-two-year-old Gerard Chevarie was previously convicted in connection with various types of crimes and was released on conditions including residing at a specific Moncton location.

On February 27th, police were advised that he was no longer there.

He is believed to be in the Moncton or surrounding area and is described as five foot 8, around 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

RCMP does not believe there is a risk to public safety, but if you see Chevarie, police ask that you don’t approach him.

Instead, call 911 with a location time, and clothing description.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Codiac RCMP at 506-857-2400. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.
