A fourth man has been charged in the death of 18-year-old Joedin Leger of Moncton.

An 18-year-old Moncton man was arrested on Wednesday in Riverview in connection with the investigation.

He appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on Thursday by way of tele-remand and was charged with first-degree murder.

He will remain in custody and is scheduled to return to court on July 13.

His name is not being released because he was a minor at the time of the incident.

Three others are also charged with first degree murder in connection with Leger’s death.

Eighteen-year-old Riley Robert Sheldon Philips, 20-year-old Hunter Nash England, and 23-year-old Jerek John England, all three of the Moncton area.

On April 25, police responded to a report of shots fired at a home on Logan Lane in Moncton.

Eighteen-year-old Joedin Leger suffered gunshot wounds and later died of his injuries.
