Soldier On Air Show To Be Held Without CF Snowbirds

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will not be a part of an upcoming Air show for Greater Moncton, but the show must go on.

An update from Experience Moncton about the Soldier On Air Show to be held June 29th.

Air demonstrations and fly-bys featuring other military aircraft, including a CF-188 and a CP-140 will be held over the Petitcodiac River.

There will also be a Military Equipment Show and Tell on Downing Street, along with food and entertainment.

The Snowbirds were forced to cancel due to a technical issue that relates to a device that sets the timing for the deployment of the parachute during the ejection sequence.

They are hoping to have the issue resolved for their performance in Ottawa on July 1st.
