A big win for the Moncton Wildcats in game one of the QMJHL final as they make a run for the Gilles Courteau Trophy.
They battled the Rimouski Oceanic to a sold-out crowd of over 8,500 fans at the Avenir Centre this evening.
The game ended with a victory for the Cats 4-1.
The Cats outshot the Oceanic 38-14.
Game two goes Sunday at 7 p.m., once again at the Avenir Centre in Moncton.
All games are being televised on stations including TSN.
