Over a thousand NB Power customers were left in the dark in the Evergreen Drive area in Northwest Moncton.
A caller to our newsroom says she heard a pop just before everything went dark.
Spokesperson Marc Belliveau says a breaker issue caused the lights to go out at around 8:30am Friday morning.
The power was restored by around 9:30am.
