Fire Pit Permits Required Starting January 1st, 2022

Effective January 1st, your backyard fire pit is going to require a permit if you live in the City of Moncton.

Fire pits can only be used between 4pm and 11pm, and must be almost 10 feet from things like other structures, property lines, and fences.

When applying for your permit, you must include a photo of your fire pit.

The cost is $10.
