Moncton Fire Battles Blaze In Parking Garage

A fire in an underground parking garage is under investigation by the Moncton Fire Department and RCMP.

Fire Prevention Officer Steve Richardson says it started at around 1:30am Monday morning at 22 Church Street, in the Peace Centre parking.

It was in an area where wooden patio furniture was being stored.

Richardson says there is smoke and water damage in the garage itself, and also some smoke damage to the building.
