Fire damages garage and pickup truck

There is no word yet on what caused a fire in a garage on Shediac Road in Lakeville.

Moncton Fire Platoon Chief Paul Bruens says it was called in at around 5:20 Wednesday morning.

He adds that neighbours reported hearing large explosions.

Bruens says they quickly got the fire under control, and no one was hurt.

A pickup truck beside the building was destroyed.

The scene has been handed over to RCMP for further investigation.
