Realtors Organization Supporting The Homeless

A large group of realtors from Greater Moncton will come together to walk and raise awareness and support the homeless.

Chair of the Realtors Care Committee Jocelyn Clements says this year they’re supporting the homeless, “Our homelessness problem has increased significantly over the past couple of years. We, in particular chose the homeless because they are in dying need of help. Food, clothes, warmth. A lot of the beds have been cut back significantly since the pandemic has happened. Unfortunately there are more homeless people out of the street.”

The walk is being held on Saturday, November 20th, starting at 1pm at the Starving Artist Gallery on Assomption Boulevard in Moncton. Everyone is welcome to take part.

They’ll be dropping off winter care packages to the homeless. These packages include things like mitts, hats, gloves, toothbrushes and toothpaste and socks..

Clements says they will also deliver cash donations to House of Nazareth, Harvest House and Humanity Project.

Realtors Care is a group of realtors who work together to make a positive impact in the community.
