Attic fire in Turtle Creek garage

Fire has damaged a commercial garage in Turtle Creek.

Riverview Fire and Rescue were called to Burrell Road at around 3:30 Monday afternoon.

When they arrived, there was light smoke coming from the attic.

Firefighters were there for around two hours but managed to get the blaze under control quickly.

The attic has water and fire damage but the main part of the building wasn’t impacted.

Moncton and Salisbury Fire Departments assisted.

A total of 26 firefighters helped to battle the blaze.

No one was injured.

There’s no word on a cause yet.
