RCMP Consider NB Man’s Disappearance Suspicious

The RCMP Major Crime Units from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are investigating the disappearance of Port Elgin area man.

Police says 38-year-old Jamie Leard’s 2012 silver Mazda was found abandoned on Main Street in Springhill, Nova Scotia on May 28th, the same day he was reported missing.

He was last seen at his Upper Cape Road home in New Brunswick on May 26th.

Based on information gathered so far by RCMP, they are considering Leard’s disappearance to be suspicious.

Leard is described as 6’2, and around 264 pounds. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, a full beard and wears prescription glasses.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jamie Leard, or who may have information that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact the New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit at 506-851-7281. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
