Live Christmas tree disposal in Greater Moncton

Now that Christmas is over, you might be looking for ways to dispose of your tree.

In the City of Moncton, trees can be left at the curb on your regular garbage day this week. Crews will be picking up the trees with a separate truck and that means it may not be picked up at the same time as your waste.

There are also several drop-off locations until January 31.

Trees can be brought to:

  • Mapleton Park (Gorge Road entrance)
  • Crossman Community Centre
  • Crowley Farm Road (ballfield)
  • Moncton Coliseum Parking Lot
  • Former Dud James Arena parking lot

If you’re a Riverview resident, Christmas trees can be left curbside on your regular pick-up day for waste collection this week.

In Dieppe, there is only one special tree collection day. It is Wednesday, January 8 and trees must be at the curb before 4 am.

Don’t forget to remove all of the tinsel and lighting from your tree.
