Search For Missing Man Ends Tragically

The search for a missing 65-year-old Moncton man has ended.

RCMP are reporting a body was found on May 9th by an individual walking near the train tracks on Route 132 in Meadow Brook, near Scoudouc.

The body was positively identified as the missing man.

Members of the community came together in the search for the man missing since April 15.

A Facebook group called Red Ribbon Moncton was created to encourage homeowners to search their backyards in an effort to help find him.

Condolences are pouring in on social media to support friends and family.

RCMP would like to thank the members of the community, partner agencies and specialized policing services who helped search for the missing man.
