RHS Grad Parade Approved By Town Council

A parade will be held again this year to celebrate graduating students at Riverview High School.

Parents are organizing the event. Their request was approved at Town Council this week.

The parade is scheduled on June 22nd starting at 7 o’clock.

It was start at Riverview Mall, and travel on Coverdale, Buckingham, Whitepine and Trites.

Graduation commencement ceremonies are still expected to be organized by the schools themselves, but with COVID-19 rules in place.

Anglophone East School District announced late last year, those would be permitted but proms would not be organized by the schools.

High school families at other facilities are also expected to organize events for their graduating students as well.
