A detached garage has been destroyed and a second one damaged, after a fire on Connelly Street in Moncton.
Platoon Chief Charlie Melanson says one of the buildings was fully engulfed when they arrived on scene at around 11:50pm last night.
A car that was parked in front of the garage was also burning. It was also destroyed.
Melanson says flames then spread to a second garage.
Firefighters managed to stop the flames from spreading to the two nearby homes, but there is damage to the siding.
Nineteen firefighters helped on scene to get the fire under control.
There’s no word on a cause yet.
