Over 35 women braved the weather last night, to offer their support to 100 Women Who Care of Greater Moncton.
Three charitable organizations, Harvest House, Pregnancy Centre and the Greater Moncton SPCA presented to the group, with the hopes of being chosen to receive this month’s funds.
A vote was held, and the SPCA were the lucky recipients of $3800, to go towards their daily operations and a new shelter.
Co-Organizer Tammy Rampersaud says they welcomed six new members to the group last night.
