1 taken to hospital after crash on Trans-Canada Highway

One person was transported to hospital after a rollover on the Trans-Canada Highway.

Dieppe Fire Platoon Chief Denis Roberge said two vehicles collided on the westbound lanes at around 7:30 a.m. Monday.

Roberge said tools were required to remove a person from one of the vehicles.

They suffered undetermined injuries and there is no word on their current condition.

Roberge said a second person was assessed and treated at the scene.
